Meet Our Providers and Staff
David L. Kulbersh, MD, FACOG
Dr. Kulbersh received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia and a doctorate of medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at The University of Texas, Southwestern School of Medicine, and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been involved in the private practice of medicine in Columbia, South Carolina for over 30 years.
The State newspaper recognized Dr. Kulbersh in 2006 as being one of the 25 most influential people in healthcare in the Midlands area. He has been responsible for many "firsts" in his progressive approach to the practice of medicine
Dr. Kulbersh is married to Jane. They have a daughter, Leslie Lipson, of Atlanta, who practices law. They have a son, Jonathan, who is an ENT physician doing a plastics fellowship in Beverly Hills, California.
Dr. Kulbersh enjoys spending time with his granddaughters Karen and Rory, traveling, reading, and down time at the beach.
Eva A. Imperial, MD, FAAFP
Dr. Imperial received her B.S. degree in Biology from The South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina. After graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Dr. Imperial completed her family practice residency at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. She is board certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine.
Prior to joining the team at Kulbersh Women’s Center, she worked for a community health clinic in Ridgeway, SC as a National Health Service Corp Scholar. Dr. Imperial more recently worked as a staff physician at Choice Health Care Center in Orangeburg, SC.
She enjoys entertaining friends, traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Audrey Miller, MD
Dr. Audrey Miller, a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist, was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.
She completed her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her pre-medical school coursework at Washington University. After attending medical school at the University of Michigan she went on to complete her residency training there as well.
Dr. Miller has been in private practice in Atlanta, GA, Greenwich, CT, and Philadelphia, PA. She looks forward to joining Kulbersh Womens Center. Dr. Miller has a particular interest and training in the management of female urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse surgery.
Alice Wyatt, MSN, FNP-BC
Alice received her BS degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina’s College of Nursing Magna Cum Laude. She received her diploma from the Elizabeth General Hospital School of Nursing in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Furthering her education, Alice received her MSN in Nursing and her FNP certificate of graduate Studies from the University of South Carolina’s College of Nursing. Alice is a Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps leaving with an honorable discharge. She has over 44 years of experience in nursing, serving in areas such as: public health and acute care. She also served as a faculty member at the College of Nursing at the University of South Carolina.
Alice has been a Nurse Practitioner for over 25 years and been affiliated with Dr. David Kulbersh over 20 years. She has held various positions in nursing associations for some years. Alice is current chair of the Constituent Assembly of American Nurses Association, a member of the board of the Directors of ANA, past chair of Advance Practice Registered Nurse Council of SCNA, past president of the South Carolina Nurses Association for two terms, and finally an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Alice is married, has a son, three grandchildren and two dachshunds.
Beverly Summer, BSN, WHNP-BC
Beverly received her BS degree in Nursing from Lander University and her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Beverly has over 28 years of experience in nursing serving in areas such as labor and delivery, acute care, public health, and women’s health.
Since becoming a nurse practitioner over 18 years ago, she has specialized in the care of women of all ages. She has precepted both Clemson and USC nurse practitioner students and has worked as an adjunct clinical instructor for Piedmont Technical College. Beverly established a gynecology clinic in 2005 at the Free Medical Clinic of Newberry County where she continues to volunteer her time.
In addition to her women’s health activities, Beverly enjoys camping, hiking, water sports, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, 3 children, and son-in-law.
